Cummings/Hillel Holocaust & Genocide Education Program Keynote Speaker
The Cummings/Hillel Program for Holocaust and Genocide Education is honored to welcome Dr. Alfred Munzer to Tufts as the 2017 keynote speaker. Dr. Alfred Munzer was born in Holland in 1941 and was saved during the Holocaust by Tole Madna and Mima Saina, an Indonesian family who lived in the Netherlands. Ms. Saina, their housekeeper, walked miles every day to find milk for him and routinely risked her life to save his. Dr. Munzer and his mother were reunited in 1945 when he was three and a half years old. Today, Dr. Munzer lives in Washington DC and is a retired physician.
