DESCRIPTION:The Jewish Learning Fellowship (JLF) is a nine-week experiential seminar for undergraduates looking to deepen their understanding of Judaism on their own terms while making friends and having fun.We will discuss Jewish perspectives on social justice\, asking questions like: What do I do when the world is on fire? Who am I responsible for? What do I do when systems fall apart?We will ask big questions about life but don’t purport to have any of the answers. We make no claims about the “right” way to practice or not to practice Judaism. We are all works in progress\, and we hope to provide you the time and space to consider the big questions and find your own answers.In addition\, we will nourish you (plenty of snacks!) and value your time (after completion of the program you will receive a stipend). \n\n\n\nOpen to all undergraduate students. \n\n\n\nApply Here: https://forms.gle/SqmCt7KAAx2DyZhz7 \n\n\n\nFAQWhen does the fellowship meet?We will be meeting on Wednesday evenings from 4:30-5:30 PM. Fellows are required to attend and participate in all sessions to receive a stipend. \n\n\n\nIs there homework? Will this cause me more stress?There is no homework! And students report that JLF is a break from the stress of school and work\, not an added burden. \n\n\n\n​Who is eligible to apply?Current undergraduates are invited to apply. No previous formal Jewish learning experience is necessary. JLF is open to students from a wide variety of Jewish backgrounds\, expressions\, and experiences. \n\n\n\nCan I apply if I have already participated in JLF?Returning fellows are welcome to apply\, though first-time participants are given priority. \n\n\n\nDid you mention a stipend?First-time fellows earn a $200 stipend at the end of the fellowship.

You can expect great food\, connection with your community\, and spiritual renewal! Together we will retell the story of Passover\, finding new relevance for our lives in the story or our people’s liberation. \n\n\n\nClick here for a full list of passover programs and events \n\n\n\nTransparent Seder pricing: \n\n\n\nIn order for us to finance the delicious\, Kosher food that we offer\, The charge for a Seder meal is $18 per person. \n\n\n\nThe real cost of a Seder meal to Tufts Hillel per person is $36. In order to make meals accessible to all students we ask you to cover $18 of this cost.  \n\n\n\nIf this price is prohibitive for you or you have questions please contact any member of the Hillel staff and we will ensure complete confidentiality. We want every student to have access to\, and feel welcome at our Passover Seders. \n\n\n\nPlease consider a voluntary donation of $18\, $36\, or $72 to cover the cost for those who cannot pay full price. \n\n\n\nComplimentary Passover Meals (non-seder)\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nAll non-seder meals are provided free of charge between 12:00 pm -1:00 pm. \n\n\n\nYou can eat kosher for Passover food throughout the entire holiday!  \n\n\n\nWe have partnered with Tufts Chabad to offer lunch and/or dinner on each day. The following meals are offered by Chabad: Lunch on 4/9 & Dinner on 4/10. \n\n\n\nTo-go meals\n\n\n\nTo-go meals are available for lunches only\, from Monday to Friday of Passover and must be picked up between 12-1pm.  If you have class during that time (or other obligations) and want a meal please sign up and arrange for a friend to pick up a meal for you.  \n\n\n\nRegistration\n\n\n\nSo that we can order the appropriate amount of food to accommodate everyone while avoiding food waste. We ask that you Please sign up for all meals by March 13th. DESCRIPTION:The Jewish Learning Fellowship (JLF) is a nine-week experiential seminar for undergraduates looking to deepen their understanding of Judaism on their own terms while making friends and having fun.We will discuss Jewish perspectives on social justice\, asking questions like: What do I do when the world is on fire? Who am I responsible for? What do I do when systems fall apart?We will ask big questions about life but don’t purport to have any of the answers.
