Tufts alum, Dan Pashman A99, is stopping by Tufts Hillel on Tuesday, April 16th! Dan is currently on tour live taping his podcast The Sporkful and promoting his new cookbook Anything’s Pastable: 81 Inventive Pasta Recipes for Saucy People. He’s making this stop to talk to us about his time at Tufts, his journey into the podcasting world, what it was like inventing a viral pasta shape, and more! Join us in welcoming Dan back to campus, followed by our Community Dinner.
About Dan: Dan Pashman is the creator and host of the two-time James Beard and Webby Award-winning podcast The Sporkful, and the creator of the viral pasta shape sensation, cascatelli. Known for his charmingly obsessive, idiosyncratic takes on food, Dan launched The Sporkful in 2010, and it remains one of the most listened to food podcasts today, with notable guests like Rachel Maddow, David Chang, Samin Nosrat, Nigella Lawson, Guy Fieri, Alton Brown, Carla Hall, Kumail Nanjiani, Jamie Oliver, Rosie Perez, Jim Gaffigan, Marc Maron, Weird Al, Kwame Onwuachi and W. Kamau Bell, among many others. His pasta shape cascatelli, has received widespread acclaim including being featured on the cover of TIME magazine as one of the Best Inventions of the year.
