Unplug from the week and join us around the table for Shabbat Dinner. Dinner is Kosher and includes both meat and vegetarian options. So that we can create the best possible experience and plan our menu accordingly Shabbat dinner registration is required. All class years are welcome.
Join our Conservative minyan for their first Shabbat morning service of the year! Warm, participatory, and spiritual services will be followed by a relaxed Shabbat lunch. Students and faculty members will meet weekly to discuss readings from Benny Morris' 1948: A History of the First Arab-Israeli War and Yossi Klein HaLevi's Letters to my Palestinian Neighbor. We will allot time during the meetings for participants to read the texts that we will be discussing, so no outside reading is necessary.
All reading materials will be provided, and discussions will be run so that weekly attendance is not necessary to participate—feel free to join us whenever you can! Lunch will be served each week.
